There is a large Christmas card at the back of St. Cuthbert's Church for those who would prefer to sign this instead of writing lots of individual cards. You could then make a donation to our Christmas charity, Help in Bereavement in the collection box next to the card.

8.00am HOLY COMMUNION - Sunday 24th December Since there will be the opportunity in our parish to receive Holy Communion on Christmas Eve at 9.00 a.m., 10.00 a.m., 11.30 p.m. (in both churches) and at 10.00 a.m. on Christmas Day, there will be no 8.00 a.m. Holy Communion on Christmas Eve.

FINE VOICE ACADEMY are holding

A Magical Christmas Concert on Saturday 16th Dec. at 7 pm in St Cuthbert's Church.

'CAROLS IN THE LODGE' - Thursday 21st December from 7pm to 9pm in The Lodge, Anchorage Park.

ENCOMPASS: Fun, fellowship and faith for older people

At St. Cuthbert’s Church, Copnor, 2.00pm-4.00pm (The third Tuesday in every month)

Next Date: December 19th - Christmas Party

Board Games, Crafts, Themed activities, Quizzes, Reminiscence and afternoon tea.

There will be a short service of worship.

We aim to be accessible for retired people of all ages and abilities.

This month’s theme is: Christmas gifts

Come and join with us as we celebrate Christmas.

There will be a short concert provided by “The Fine Voice Academy”, along with traditional party games, and quizzes. For tea we will be serving Christmas goodies.

All welcome, why not bring a friend.



CHRISTMAS FLOWERS IN ST. CUTHBERT'S CHURCH

If anyone in the St. Cuthbert's congregation would like a free bible, there are three available at the back of the church, please help yourself.



CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL 2017

Thank you to everyone who played a part in this event, whether by helping in any way or by coming to see the trees and enjoying the music.



FOOTSTEPS

Our next meeting is on Weds 20th Dec at 7.30 when we will be meeting at the Vicarage.

Please bring with you some food to share and also your 'Grotty/Fun Secret Santa.

CHURCHES HOMELESS ACTION 2017

All you need to do is donate £5 gift cards from stores such as Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's and Argos, which will be given to people in need this Christmas.

Please bring or send your vouchers to The Deanery Office, St. Faith's Church, Crasswell Street, Portsmouth, PO1 1HT to arrive before 13th December.

There will be a Carol Service at St. Mary's Church on Friday 15th December at 12pm when the gift cards will be handed to representatives of the charities being supported.

LIGHT UP A LIFE SERVICE (The Rowans Hospice)

Friday 15th December Canoe Lake, Southsea Lake of Lights 5-7pm, service at 5.45pm.
