CHARITY GIVING IN 2009
In addition to planned giving for the work of St. Aidan & St. Cuthbert’s churches we raised money specifically for church and secular charities in 2009, and made the following payments:
Lent Appeal - USPG St. Anne’s Hospital Liuli - £514.40
Red Nose Day (St. Cuthbert’s Trust) - £140.12
St. George's Church, Bagdad (Mothers Union) - £85.40
Harvest - St. Cuthbert's - USPG project “Journey into the Amazon” - £405.62
Harvest - St. Aidan's – “Harvest for the Hungry” - £84.87
Christingle Services - Children's Society - £156.77
Children's Society - Collecting Boxes - £412.57
Christmas Services - Naomi House Children's Hospice - £505.00
Total - £ 2,304.75
